Frequently asked questions

Our delivery areas include Stellenbosch, but exclude Pniel, Kylemore, and Klapmuts. We also deliver in Somerset West and Strand, excluding Sitari and Croydon Estates, and Sir Lowry’s Pass Village.  In the Northern Suburbs we deliver to Brackenfell, Kuilsriver north of the M12 and east of the R102, Bellville east of Jip de Jager, and Durbanville. If you are unsure if we deliver to your area or if you want to make special arrangements, please get into contact with us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

·        Stellenbosch deliveries are on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

·        Somerset West deliveries are on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

·        Strand deliveries are on Thursday afternoons. The pickup point in Strand can also be used on Thursdays.

·        Northern Suburbs deliveries are on Thursday afternoons.

Delivery is R35 for orders under R200 and R25 for orders over R200. For orders over R1000, delivery is free. 

If for any reason you can’t pay through our Yoco payment gateway on the website, get into contact with us and we can arrange an EFT.

No, not yet! We are based in Stellenbosch, but we operate out of a small warehouse on limited days of the week. This helps us to keep overhead – and our prices – lower.

We don’t currently offer a subscription service. Let us know if this is something you’d like!

We offer special prices on a grocery subscription for local charities. If you have a charity in mind that you’d like to sponsor, we would love to help you to set it up. We already do this for a few charities in town.

We take all the packaging back! We will reuse the boxes your order arrived in if they are still in good enough shape, otherwise they will be recycled or composted. We encourage you to recycle or compost the brown paper bags, but if you do not have access to these facilities, we will take them back and do it for you. We encourage you to reuse glass jars, but we will take them back if you don’t have a use for them. It is considered better to reuse glass than to recycle it.

We do not currently sell organic vegetables, but there is an organic veggie box coming soon – watch this space!
